"PrePeek": a direct line to the customer via influencers
With PrePeek, the event organisers of the trade fair duo have established a campaign whereby the exhibitor will gain a direct channel of communication to the end consumer. Bloggers and influencers will select collection pieces from participating labels, showcase them in photo shoots and write reports about them. The collaborating partner in this promotion is Kleiderei from Hamburg with support from Weleda. Edelziege will be presenting the finest cashmere from Mongolia at Greenshowroom.
Who can take the best trade fair photo?
Professional and amateur photographers, journalists and bloggers are being called to take part in a photo competition during the three days of the trade fair. Whether of people, the hustle and bustle of the trade fair or the fashion shows, photos can be posted on the Facebook pages of the two trade fairs tagged with #myfairpic, #greenshowroom and #EFSB. An expert jury will choose their favourite photo from all the posted photos. There is also a prize for the photo that attracts the most likes on the Internet. The two winners will each receive an edition of the book
"Fashion Made Fair" and a voucher from Kleiderei. Key topic "ActiveSlow" Progressive design and performance in combination with resource efficiency and recyclability are the key themes
for the winter season. In a showcase entitled "Active Wear +", Manufactum and ESMOD Berlin International University of Art for Fashion will present prototypical functional clothing. Selected exhibitors at both trade fairs will also present design innovations that are characterised especially by resource efficiency, slowness and recyclability. More in-depth information will be provided at the panel discussion entitled: "Save the sea: the issue of textile shedding into water bodies". The three-day programme of talks will also offer visitors the opportunity to inform themselves about current market developments and enter into discussions with fashion and sustainability experts.
