Felipe Massa officially launches the new SAUDIA Ad Diriyah E-Prix in the striking newGen2 car at the Ad Diriyah UNESCO Heritage site as Saudi Arabia introduces new global visa for fans worldwide


“Felipe Massa - VENTURI Formula E Team driver - got behind the wheel of the official championship car for the very first time, to take the striking all new Gen2 car around the streets of the capital today of Saudi Arabia for the official launch of the inaugural Saudia Ad Diriyah E-Prix. 
The opening race of the 2018/19 ABB FIA Formula E Championship is being staged at a stunning UNESCO heritage site on the outskirts of Riyadh on 15th December 2018. Ahead of the race weekend and as part of the Country’s Vision2030 plan, Saudi Arabia will open up its borders to fans of live sport, music and culture for the first time with the launch of a new online visa process dedicated to welcoming international tourists. The new visa process platform known as ‘Sharek’ will be the first-time foreign travellers and fans can access Saudi Arabia in such a fast and uncomplicated process as it opens its doors to sports tourism.

  • Aseel, who has never raced in her home country before, completed the emotional drive in a Jaguar F-TYPE


Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 24 June 2018:Female racing driver Aseel Al Hamad celebrated the end of the ban on women drivers with a lap of honour in a Jaguar F-TYPE.
Aseel, the first female board member of the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation,had never driven on a track in her home country before.
Aseel joined Jaguar in a call for June 24thto be known as World Driving Day – a day when finally, the whole world can enjoy the thrill of being behind the wheel of a car. On World Driving Day Jaguar invites people to share a memory of their best driving moment (image or anecdote) using the #worlddrivingday.
