January 2018 - The Maserati Polo Tour 2018 began with a thrilling
start at the “Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz” that took place in the
spectacular setting of the frozen lake of St. Moritz from 26th – 28th January
2018 and saw Team Cartier claim victory over Team Maserati by 4.5 to 4, in a breathtaking final.
Over the three days of the tournament, the four polo
teams played entertaining and high-class polo matches to the delight of over
15,000 spectators – setting a new tournament record. The spectacularly
sunny weather conditions transformed the
polo field on the frozen lake of St. Moritz, with the captivating snow-capped
mountains providing a picturesque backdrop. Among the guests of the renowned
“Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz” were a number of VIP personalities such as England
polo star Malcolm Borwick and Slalom World Champion Giorgio Rocca. The Snow
Polo World Cup St. Moritz is the only high-goal polo tournament played on snow.

+4) played in St. Moritz for the first time and received thrilling support and
cheers from the audience throughout their performance.
Besides the horsepower shown on the polo field on the
lake of St. Moritz, Maserati had a fleet of vehicles with a different kind of
horsepower on display in the polo village. Spectators could take a closer look
at the new Ghibli MY18, which was launched in Summer 2017. The Ghibli MY18 with
its trim lines GranLusso and GranSport performed a record number of test drives
throughout the entire Polo weekend.
The guests could also discover the Quattroporte and
the Levante MY18 with their GranLusso and GranSport trims
and advanced driving assistance systems.
Maserati aficionados were also able to enjoy exclusive
weekend packages ranging from a Maserati Snow&Ice Experience and the
World-class Snow Polo with the Maserati Team to an exclusive Gala dinner.
The “Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz” marked the
exciting kick-off of the Maserati Polo Tour 2018 and emphasized the

Como

Jalisco, Aristóteles Sandoval, asistió al arranque de la edición 60 de la justa
beisbolera más importante de Latinoamérica y en la que Jalisco es anfitrión por
primera ocasión: la Serie del Caribe.
Ahí,
el mandatario estatal presenció tanto la inauguración, así como el juego entre
Puerto Rico y México. Previamente recibió al ex presidente de Estados Unidos,
Bill Clinton, con quien intercambió comentarios e invitó a ser parte de la
ceremonia del lanzamiento de la primera bola; el pugilista Saúl ‘Canelo’
Álvarez realizó los lanzamientos.
Asimismo
observó el duelo desde el palco acompañado de su familia, autoridades, incluido
el gobernador de Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, y empresarios.
La
competencia, que tiene lugar en la casa de los Charros de Jalisco a partir de
hoy y hasta el 8 de febrero, reúne a las mejores novenas de la región en el
también denominado Clásico Caribeño.

The Abu Dhabi Invitational 2018 begins this weekend, as celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment compete in the showpiece event. Hosted at the world-famous Yas Links Gold Course, in the shadows of the Abu Dhabi Formula One Track, the event will see a Professional Golfers Team led by former world No.1 golfer Martin Kaymer take on a Celebrity Team captained by Ballon D’or-winning footballer Luis Figo.
The Celebrity Team features six footballers, including Figo. Dwight Yorke, Peter Schmeichel and Ruud Gullit return for another year, having competed in the Celebrity Team in 2017. Yorke and Schmeichel played under Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, winning a historic domestic and European treble in 1999. Yorke was one of the Premier League’s highest-scoring non-European players, whilst Schmeichel is widely renowned as one of the game’s finest goalkeepers. Gullit won the Ballon D’or in 1987 before winning Euro 1988 with his native Holland. Alessandro Del Piero and Trevor Steven complete the footballing set. Steven is a former England footballer who shot to fame with the successful Everton side of the 1980s while Del Piero, the diminutive Italian forward, won everything available to a professional footballer in a remarkable career.
Former Finnish Formula 1 driver Heikki Kovalainen raced between 2007 and 2013, recording one GP win and several podium finishes. Cricketer Brian Lara is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest batsmen of all time, and holds the record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket. He will join Figo’s team alongside Welsh rugby union star Mike Phillips and Olympic Champions Sir Matthew Pinsent and Roland Schoeman. Pinsent won four gold medals in the sport of rowing, whilst Schoeman is one of South Africa’s most successful swimmers of all time.
Boyzlife duo Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden will also feature in the Celebrity Team; Duffy had 16 singles in the top five of the UK charts with Boyzone whilst McFadden had 17 Irish Top Five Singles with Westlife. James Nesbitt, who has featured in some of the decades seminal television and film works, completes the Celebrity line-up.
The Pros Team comprises 14 golfers of impressive pedigree. From the Ladies European Tour, Camilla Lennarth will be joined by Holly Clyburn whilst Ahmed Al Musharrekh will also play as the only Emirati professional golfer. The Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championships is one of the circuit-leading European Tour golf tournaments, and former winners Gary Stal and Pablo Larrazbal will also join Kaymer’s Pros Team.
The draw for Saturday’s action will take place on Friday night and the event will be hosted at Yas Links Golf Course, previously voted as one of the ‘World’s Top City Golf Clubs’ by CNN Travel.
The event’s chosen charity this year is Cancer Care Patient Society – Rahma. The Rahma campaign aims to undo the stigma associated with losing hope as a result of cancer. Through Rahma’s support, patients and their families will be given the support necessary to overcome the physical, emotional and financial burdens that come with their diagnosis.
Promising to be an unforgettable two days of world class golf and outstanding hospitality, the Abu Dhabi Invitational is renowned as one of the most prestigious Pro-Celebrity tournaments in the world. Each professional and each celebrity is paired with a VIP guest and the teams will compete against each other in a Ryder Cup Fourball format.

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide continúa con el apoyo a los damnificados por los sismos de septiembre

Ciudad de México, noviembre 22 del 2017.- El día de hoy Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, anunció que continuará con su apoyo hacia las personas que resultaron afectadas durante los sismos registrados el pasado mes de septiembre en territorio nacional. Su principal interés es trabajar a favor de las causas sociales y en esta ocasión, a beneficio de los damnificados durante los terremotos ocurridos en nuestro país.
Cabe destacar que Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, ofrecerá una función especial llamada “Luchando por México”, el próximo sábado 9 de diciembre a las 20:00 hrs., en el Gimnasio Juan de la Barrera, para contribuir así a la reconstrucción de escuelas que resultaron dañadas tras los terremotos registrados en la CDMX.

Triple A entregará la taquilla total de la función especial a KidZania México, el cual será destinado a la reconstrucción de 2 escuelas de educación primaria, ubicadas en la CDMX.
