Guadalajara, Jalisco 13 de noviembre de 2021.- Los pilotos de Spartac Racing Team enfrentaron este sábado dos sesiones de entrenamientos y la ronda de calificación de cara a la décima ronda de la temporada de NASCAR Peak México Series.
 
Buscando una buena puesta a punto, los pilotos del equipo chihuahuense tomaron parte de las prácticas al iniciar la jornada en un renovado Trióvalo de Guadalajara, posteriormente se formaron para salir a la calificación, la cual hizo su aparición por tercera vez en el año.
 

Rubén Pardo del auto #15 de Coca Cola Sin Azúcar- ITCR Infraestructura- LUMO Financiera del Centro- Jomtel- Sicurika- Toy Hot- Monster Energy- Mamitas Group- Protelife Armour Boutique- Radiosys- Skippy- TK Terraza Grill- Alsoma Internacional- Hangar Inn Hotel Select- Fiesta Inn- Travel & Tips- Johnny Flyco de la categoría estelar tuvo una complicada sesión de calificación, al ser el primero en salir a la pista, esto significó que el tiempo que registrará sería consecuentemente batido por los demás pilotos en lo que avanzaba la sesión y mejoraba la pista. Finalmente se ubicó en el vigésimo sexto puesto de salida, pero confía en que mañana podrá remontar y finalizar en los primeros puestos.
 
“Ha sido un fin de semana bastante complicado, el auto y yo no nos encontramos cómodos. El problema es que con el comportamiento de la pista nos encontramos incómodos. Para calificar fui el primero en salir, por lo que no sabíamos con lo que nos encontraríamos, no quise arriesgar de más, casi me pierdo en la curva uno para abrir y preferí verme muy conservador para tener el auto completo y mantenerme mañana en la pista para ir rescatando lugares”, indicó el piloto capitalino,
 
Por su parte, Rafael Vallina del auto #0 Coca Cola Sin Azúcar – ITCR Infraestructura - LUMO Financiera del Centro - Jomtel – Sicurika de la categoría Challenge tuvo una complicada sesión, pero confía en que los ajustes que realice el equipo serán lo correctos para la carrera de mañana, donde buscará avanzar a los primeros puestos.
 
“Iniciando el día tuvimos una sesión de prácticas de aprendizaje, por momentos encontramos velocidad, pero con los cambios para la calificación no tuvimos un carro rápido. Se tomó la decisión de cambiar todo el auto en cuanto al setting y tratar de rescatar lo más posible. La verdad no fue una gran sesión de calificación, seguiremos con la cabeza en alto, aprendiendo y trabajando para la carrera de mañana”, señaló el piloto chihuahuense y también dueño del equipo.
 
La competencia en el Trióvalo de Guadalajara está pactada a 130 vueltas para comenzar en punto de las 14:00 hrs. Sigue la transmisión televisiva (diferida) este domingo a las 21:00 horas a través de Fox Sports 3 ó a través de Claro Sports a las 17:00 por plataformas digitales.

Today’s qualifying session at 24 Hours of Le Mans – round 7 of FIA WEC Season 8 - saw the top six fastest cars from each category [LMP1, LMP2, LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am] progress through to tomorrow’s Hyperpole. 

Hyperpole, which will run from 11h30 – 12h00 local time tomorrow [Friday], is a new-for-2020 shootout session which will determine the top grid positions for each category ahead of Saturday’s 24 hour race which will be held behind closed doors. 

Kamui Kobayashi set the fastest time out of the LMP1 crews early on with a lap time of 3:17.089 in the No. 7 Toyota TS050 Hybrid, 0.247s ahead of the No. 8 sister car with fellow Japanese driver Kazuki Nakajima at the wheel.

Third quickest was the No. 1 Rebellion R13 Gibson car, the car benefitting from a brand new engine after sitting out of the majority of FP2.

Le Mans returnees, ByKolles Racing Team were fourth fastest with Frenchman Tom Dillmann setting a time of 3:24.468 in the No.4 Enso CLM/P1/01. Rounding out the top five is the No. 3 Rebellion car.  All five cars will progress to tomorrow’s Hyperpole to determine grid positions for Saturday’s race

Racing Team Nederland tops LMP2 times  No. 29 Racing Team Nederland was fastest out of the 24 LMP2 entries, with Nyck De Vries setting a time of 3:26.648. Jackie Chan DC Racing proved second quickest in another ORECA 07 Gibson car as Will Stevens clocked a time of 3:27.097 early in the session. WEC LMP2 category leaders United Autosports finished third fastest after Paul Di Resta set a time of 3:27.148. Regular ELMS entry G-Drive Racing fourth quickest with a second United Autosports entry fifth overall.  Sixth fastest overall – and taking the final slot in tomorrow’s Hyperpole – is the WEC’s No. 33 High Class Racing entry. The Danish team making a quick recovery after stopping on track during FP2

LMGTE Am sees Aston Martin Racing on top  In LMGTE Am, the No. 98 Aston Martin Racing entry was on top with Ross Gunn setting the pace early on with a time of 3:52.778 in the Aston Martin Vantage. TF Sport was second, the British squad 0.183s adrift of pace-setters Aston Martin Racing. Rounding out the top three in Am qualifying was Gulf Racing in the No. 86 Porsche 911 RSR. The final three slots for LMGTE Am entries in Hyperpole were taken by Luzich Racing plus full-time WEC entries Dempsey-Proton Racing and Team Project 1 who finished fourth, fifth and sixth respectively. FP3 will commence at 20h00 CEST local time tonight before a final practice session at 10h00 tomorrow morning. Tomorrow’s Hyperpole will get underway at 11h30.

El calendario 2018 de la Copa Notiauto dio inicio con la primera fecha el “Gran Premio Víctor Jiménez“ el sábado 10 de febrero, en el Autódromo Miguel E Abed con el trazo de 3.3 kilómetros, sobresalió el número de participantes.

El equipo ADYA Racing Team se llevó al circuito desde el viernes, mostrando nueva imagen en sus autos, entre los pilotos que corrieron este fin de semana fue Regina Sirvent (# 12) y Ernesto Cerecedo (# 27) en Súper Turismos Light 1. En la carrera de Súper Turismos 1.8 compartieron el # 91 Eduardo y Enrique Sánchez por ultimo Andrés Cerecedo corrió en la categoría estelar TC2000 a bordo del # 47.

En la categoría TC2000 Andrés tuvo que arrancar en el último lugar en la carrera al tener una falla mecánica durante el primer entrenamiento, sin embargo trabajo duro en la pista para remontar 13 posiciones con un auto con falta de potencia, al final de la jornada se ubicó en la posición 19 de los 32 autos que formaron parte de esta competencia.

Con Ernesto Cerecedo en la primera carrera se colocó en la treceava posición, para la segunda carrera mejoró en desempeño y fue un onceavo lugar, para la próxima fecha en condiciones de buscar en liderato con un nuevo reto, que es su incorporación en la Copa 1800.

Para Regina Sirvent fue un buen inicio de campeonato al calificar en la tercera posición, durante la etapa final de la primera carrera una llanta desinflada provocó que de la tercera posición finalizara en sexto.  Para la segunda carrera la fortuna fue a su favor incluso fue líder de la carrera, pero al entrar el Safety Car perdió la ventaja y fue rebasada, pero logró un importante segundo lugar.

En la categoría Súper Turismo Copa 1800 Enrique Sánchez tomó el volante en la primera carrera y durante las 12 vueltas de carrera mantuvo a su auto rotulado con el número 91 en la segunda posición otorgandole  un lugar en el podio. Durante la segunda carrera el turno fue para Eduardo Sánchez que al final de la competencia alcanzó el cuarto lugar después de tener un despiste.

El próximo compromiso del equipo ADYA Racing Team es el 10 de marzo en Querétaro en la segunda carrera de la Copa Notiauto.

Rookie Test entry list revealed A provisional entry list (below) for the official WEC Rookie Test in Bahrain has been released, revealing that 12 cars will be taking part in the five available hours of track time at Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday 19 November.  It is worth noting that whichever team wins the LMGTE Pro championship (whether that is AF Corse, Porsche GT Team or Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Team UK) must provide a car in which the 3rd placed driver from the World Series Formula V8 3.5 will test. Equally, whichever team wins the LMP2 championship (Vaillante Rebellion, Jackie Chan DC Racing or Signatech Alpine Matmut) will test the 2nd placed driver from the single seater series.  As already announced (see original article HERE), Jackie Chan DC Racing’s Thomas Laurent will complete a minimum of 30 laps in the No.7 Toyota TS050 HYBRID, and Mike Conway from Toyota Gazoo Racing will be on hand to set a benchmark and guide the young Frenchman through his step up to LMP1. The winner of the 2017 World Series FV8 won’t be known until the morning before the test in Bahrain, and the lucky driver will be testing the No.1 Porsche 919 Hybrid.  As well as some more well-known WEC names, Mahaveer Raghunathan from India will test with G-Drive Racing, Konstantin Tereshchenko from Russia will drive TDS Racing’s ORECA 07, and Frenchman Gabriel Aubry will complete laps in the Signatech Alpine A470. In LMGTE, AF Corse will welcome Ishikawa Motoaki from Japan to the Ferrari 488 GTE. Hollywood superstar and former WEC driver Patrick Dempsey will wave off the 26 entrants for this weekend’s 6 Hours of Fuji. The seventh round of the FIA World Endurance Championship will begin at 11h00 (local time) on Sunday 15 October.  Fuji Speedway has special significance for the owner/partner of the Dempsey-Proton Racing team as it was the scene of his triumphant LMGTE Am victory in 2015 which, alongside his podium finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans that same year, ranks as the highlight of his motorsport career.  Patrick Dempsey will be in Japan to promote the Dempsey Challenge which is being staged in support of the Dempsey Center charity for the fight against cancer. During this time he will make a film about his win in Japan and take part in a number of events over the weekend as well as mentor the young drivers on his racing team.  To emphasise breast cancer awareness month, which was initiated by the “pink ribbon foundation”, the livery of the No.77 Dempsey Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR will be styled pink for the 6 Hours of Fuji. Meeting the fans of tomorrow at Fuji Ahead of the first day of action at Fuji Speedway in Japan, the FIA World Endurance Championship hosted pupils from the Mukaida Elementary School in Oyama.
