Michael B. Jordan, Olivia Palermo, Hu Ge Experience
The Sunny Side Of Life At Piaget’s Beach

It may be cold outside but inside this year’s Piaget booth at Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, it’s beach time. That’s because Piaget is inviting guests to experience its Sunny Side of Life philosophy at the Piaget Society Beach where the sun will be shining bright. The luxury maison’s booth has been transformed for the occasion into an immersive beach experience where visitors can relax while discovering dazzling new Piaget watch and jewellery creations.

Bound by a common passion for life and beauty, the glamorous Piaget Society has been coming together in sunny destinations around the world since the 1960s to enjoy sun-filled moments. The new Piaget Society Beach pays homage to this spirit and makes an original and playful setting for the presentation of Piaget’s latest radiant creations.

Festivities hosted on the wood deck and sparkling sand include colourful summer cocktails mixed and served at the bar to the house tracks of DJ Laila M. Around the space, SHINE windows bring to life the different moments of the day in magnificent colourful gradients, each window encircled in brass to the evoke the Piaget creations. Inside a glitter shower, pictures can be snapped and are shared on social media.

As the temperatures rise and the beach party gets in full swing, Piaget CEO Chabi Nouri will be joined by special guests and friends of the maison including actor and singer Hu Ge (Monday 14th January at 11am), style icon and entrepreneur Olivia Palermo (Tuesday 15th at 10:30am) and actor and entrepreneur Michael B. Jordan (Tuesday 15th January at 12pm).

As part of its presence at SIHH 2019, Piaget is hosting a special dinner for its VIP guests and celebrities on Monday evening.
About Piaget
It was in La Côte-aux-Fées that Georges-Edouard Piaget set up his first workshop in the family farmhouse and devoted himself to producing high-precision movements. This was back in 1874 and marked the start of an ever-growing reputation. In 1943, the company took a decision that would prove crucial to its future by registering its brand name.

Faithful to its pioneering spirit, Piaget in the late 1950s set about designing and manufacturing the ultra-thin movements that would become one of the Maison’s signatures and leave a lasting impression on watchmaking.

But Piaget was also a style: a marriage of gold and an explosion of color, new shapes, precious gems, and dials made of hard stones. Carried along on the wave of extraordinary creativity driven by Yves G. Piaget, the brand’s jewelry collection grew in an original direction with a resolute emphasis on color.

Rich of more than140 years of history, the ever-bold brand, innovated by offering jewels in motion, extravagant Haute Joaillerie collections, and incredible watches to become today one of the world's most prestigious watchmaker-jewelers.

Model and Humanitarian Jessica Kahawaty chose Avakian at the 71st Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of  “Blackkklansman”

The Swiss Jewellery House of Avakian pays homage to the glitz, glamour and charm of old Hollywood with exquisite new additions to its Gatsby Collection. The high jewellery bracelet, in white gold, combines geometric shapes and pastel hues rendered using amethysts, white pearls, white enamel and diamonds.

The striking drop earrings are a creative play on bold colour combinations and geometric shapes. Taking an understated approach to design, accents in enamel and gemstones subtly remain in the limelight, while each small geometric element lends the Gatsby earrings a flexible wearability – the versatility is hinged on the brand’s core design philosophy. The Maison, which launched the Gatsby amethyst earrings last year, has brought out new variations in turquoise and red coral, owing to the huge success of the collection.

The British Actress adorned a necklace and earrings from the High Jewellery Collection. The set draws upon the style of the Art Deco, and vibrant and contrasting colours often used in Art Deco jewellery back in the era. The one-of-a-kind jewels float in a lacy web of pavéd diamonds that entraps yellow sapphires, accented by pear-cut and shield-cut blue tourmalines on the lace mesh. Graduating in size, the gem-encrusted lozenge motifs of the unique pair of earrings and the necklace are interlinked on a diamond pavéd circle chain.
