The first ever FIA World Endurance Championship race in Mexico for 25 years is set to thrill the renowned passionate Mexican racing fans at the Hermanos Rodriguez this weekend.
For those that cannot be there to witness the action and carnival atmosphere there is a variety of broadcasters that will show the race both live and uninterrupted.
The Fox Latin America channel will dedicate live coverage of qualifying and the race throughout Central and South America. With their own producers at the circuit to ensure they can follow the fortunes of as several home grown Mexican drivers, including brothers Ricardo and Roberto Gonzalez aim to wow their fans in the hotly anticipated 6 Hours of Mexico presented by AT&T.
Fox Sports 2 in the US will have live action too, and with plenty of American interest such as teams - Extreme Speed Motorsports and Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK, and drivers – Scott Sharp, Ed Brown and Ricky Taylor among them, the interest and momentum will be high to take to the next round at COTA in two weeks time.
The global reach of the WEC is emphasised by broadcasts of the race live in many other countries including the UK where the increasingly popular BT Sport channel will show the whole race live. J-Sports in Japan where fans will be able to follow the fortunes of Toyota Gazoo Racing as they aim for a first victory with the new Toyota TS 050 HYBRID LMP1 car.
Pan-European live coverage will be brought to homes via Motors TV, while the French L’Equipe21 channel and the Austrian ORF broadcaster will also take the race as it happens.
The highlights and the last hour of racing will be broadcast on Eurosport 1 on Sunday September 4 from 9.30 to 10.45.
Live coverage of the sixth round of the FIA WEC will also be shown in Australia on Fox Sports 5.
