The Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, attended on Tuesday the 113th Ordinary General Assembly of the IMSS in Mexico City (CDMX), where along with this act the 113 years of existence of the Mexican Institute of Social Security were commemorated. There, the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, recognized the trajectory of the institution's personnel for their contributions to the health of Mexicans, both in the aspect of care, as well as in research, specialization and provision of professional services.
During the event, the growth of attention that the institute has had from 2018 to date was announced, as well as the increase in beneficiaries and the attention, as in Jalisco, of the population without social security not only in basic aspects of health, but also in those of high specialty.
The event was attended by governors from all over the country, federal secretaries, authorities of the federal legislative and executive branches, representatives of the labor-management sector and IMSS personnel.
