Weiterstadt/Berlin, 13 December 2020 – In a grand virtual finale, the 33rd European Film Awards took place yesterday. ŠKODA accompanied well-known guests from the European film industry with its SUPERB iV shuttle fleet on their way to the hybrid event and was the official partner of the cultural highlight event for the sixth time.
In a very special finale to this year's European Film Awards, the European Film Academy presented the popular awards for European film talent in the categories of feature film, documentary and first feature for the 33rd time. The prestigious film awards took place this year at the 'Futurium' in Berlin, which is also the headquarters of the European Film Academy. Due to the pandemic, the event was broadcast via live stream and was accompanied by several highlights - such as the appearance of German director legend Wim Wenders, who celebrated his last year as president of the European Film Academy.
